You know what I am missing more then Az right now – some awesome Winnie icing! I could just imagine Eric trying to throw her off the cliff (or lower her off, same thing at this point) then *blink* he is immobilized as a temporary ornament. Oooo I wouldn’t mind running away with that kind of figurine and wait for it to defrost.

Actually, though crudely put, it would be the best way for him to help her find that portal again and her way home. Notice he said “until we find the portal”. Though it seems her perception of his suggestion was taken to the extreme.
And, as it seems, there is something that make demons less powerful in Winnie’s universe, perhaps to the point of regular mortality, his is a most eligant solution to the problem of his world as well. If they wish to go somewhere else, send them to somewhere where they will be less of a danger to everyone and leave his people in peace. I mean, it is their land, their home, and the demons are invading it, taking up residence and resources without so much as a “by your leave” or it seems submitting to the local authority or obeying the laws of the land.
I also think he believes her. He’s just joking around with her. And to agree with Stormhawk, that would technically be the best way of finding the portal…
