Ceallai: See?! SEE?!?!! I knew “walking through the gate” didn’t necessarily mean dying! Az was just an angel of death for too long.
SOOOOOOO true me thinks he’s just going to go back with her. And i think that like every year spent in this world is the same as a normal day back in her world which is why she isn’t ageing and when she goes back (if she does) that it will all be the same as when she left
I would think he just wants to get rid of her… I mean, I can see him being interested in a world without demons, but I doubt he’d want to go to a whole new world and start over. Even if little prince-boy is kind of obnoxious.
It was all sweet and fun till he used the word Force.. Now I am rethinking his intentions….. I am guessing Winny is causing to many complications now, (not that she has a clue) and especially after he had a meeting with “someone” he now thinks the best solution is to make her go back where she came from. But first he had to get her to tell him…
In response to LeAnna and Melody: you are seeing the timeline from Winnie’s perspective. For her it litterally feels like a week but she was in purgatory limbo for a while then *poof* came back 40 so odd years later. *coughs*
NOTE: I am pretty sure that Winnie is not aware of the 40 year gap … not yet anyway. Duh dun dummmm
Wow that seems really logical… I wonder why no one thought of that before. Look for a portal. Wonder if Az really believed Winnie.
Winnie does know about the 40 years she probably just doesn’t think about it as real yet. When she left Az and Hector chased her down she talked to him about how she couldn’t believe how grown up he was and how young he looked after 40 years.
Lol maybe JUST maybe the gates that everyone passes through IS the passage back to her world and to get back home she has to go through the gates (Yay for my imagination( and yay for the fact it will probly not happen))
And the part about winnie guideing/letting him through the gates is because he follows her in secret and when she passes through he follows ooohh
And because every one passes though the gates they are just rencarnated into humans in our world
Oh and dibz on az’s reencarnation LOL i love my imagination
Hmm – I don’t know if I trust his intentions.. Especially since the problem between the humans and demons has been that they’ve run out of livable land, and they don’t want to share..
Oh, Eric… What are you up to now? Try not to ruin too much! D:
I have to say I agree with pretty much everyone else. Is Eric trying to get rid of her… Or something else for himself? It’s an interesting thought, especially since I noticed that he suddenly switched form puppet-talking to his own voice… Hm…
A WEEK?! I didn’t realize she had only spent a week with Az. No wonder she “doesn’t like him”. Winnie is a textbook Tsundere, and she has not had anywhere near the amount of time she would need to be sweet to him, or sweet when talking about him.
As someone else mentioned, I’m slightly confused by the timeline.

Interestingly enough, if we accept this ‘a year in a day’ time correlation it will mean 40 days passed since her “death” in her home world. And a common belief is that a soul completely passes on, that’s right, 40 days after the person dies. Looks like someone got a return ticket from the gate!

Eric seems rather interested in going to that portal…maybe he wants to go to a world without demons?

Ha! Last line of the strip makes the whole thing worthwhile!
…-force- her through? Is Eric trying to help Winnie get home? Or just get rid of her?
I don’t understand the timeline :/

just my guess.. Love your work!
I agree with Melody. It seemed much more than a week that she was in the demon world.

Here we are found it in the archive! Hector told Winnie how long she’d been dead. I wonder if the time difference counts in a different world.
