  1. Amber says:

Aww Eric is being nice! I’m glad someone is finally listening to her!
(Also that shes actually able to tell her story! Usually she gets cut off!)

  2. Azure says:

For once, a logical thought process emerges. She’s actually thinking with HER BRAIN and not her pituitary. Well done, Winnie.

  3. Ceallai says:

She’s not telling all of it though. She should start from the beginning, where she really comes from, and say straight out that pinky shoved her off the roof. Now Eric is going to misinterpret everything.

  4. Amy Jane says:

Finally Eric is being nice. It is a refreshing side. And I feel for Winny but she is only looking at the bad not the good. She is being a little to harsh with AZ I think.

  5. Goldy says:

I’m not so sure he’s being nice. Giving her alcohol to loosen her lips and get some dirt on Az seems more in Eric’s line…

  6. Me! aka the person with the mummy in the wall says:

XD I feel like I should break out with “…. and now you know the rest of the story.” Yes, no, no one else got that. *goes hides under a rock*

  7. Stormhawk says:

So,” Me! aka the person with the mummy in the wall”, are we chanelling our inner Paul Harvey now?

  8. Iron Ed says:

Really nice scripting in this one.

  9. Bre says:

    poor winnie…

  10. Aurora says:

Yay for Eric being nice!! Or something that resembles it, at the very least.

I agree with Ceallai, she should tell her story from the VERY beginning.

  11. Amy Jane says:

Very True, She may not grasp the whole story herself though. Sometimes emotions block oneself from seeing the whole picture. Plus, things keep happening speedily, I don’t know if she has had any alone time to think anything through.

Goldy: I’m not so sure he’s being nice.Giving her alcohol to loosen her lips and get some dirt on Az seems more in Eric’s line…

Good point, that makes more sense. But it would be nice if he would be nice to her for a change.. I still wondering about a few things:

    1. I wonder who Eric was talking to. WHO is the Innkeepers Husband???
    2. Where is SAM???
    3. Is Eric the boy she saved 40 years ago?

  12. Phenoca says:

I want to hear her describe Earth :P

  13. Me! aka the person with the mummy in the wall says:

Stormhawk: So,” Me! aka the person with the mummy in the wall”, are we chanelling our inner Paul Harvey now?

    … maybe

  14. Mith says:

Amy Jane: 3. Is Eric the boy she saved 40 years ago?

OOOOOOO…Had so not thought of that one… Eeeee… I half hope he is…

And he did say he was only being nice to get the information from her..

  15. Miriya says:

Eric really hates demons and considering the humans and demons are on the brink of war I can’t imagine he’d manage to become a general for the humans. Eric might seem like a jerk but I think that he seems like the most real guy she’s met yet.

The prince is flighty and just wants to marry her to solve his problems. Az wanted to marry her but kept around a woman that didn’t get along with his would be wife. After Winnie died he lamented her but kept that woman as his personal healer. I think spending some time with Eric might be good for Winnie. He might be cynical but he seems honest.

  16. Eri says:

wait, why would she not know that it’s been decades since she was shoved off the roof? I mean Hector is (physically) old enough to prove to her that a great deal of time has passed.

  17. Stormhawk says:

He may or may not be the boy she saved. But now, he’s a soldier. He has a source for intimate information about his potential foes, Winnie. She’s cute, he’s got wine. It wouldn’t be the worst assignment in the world to seduce her. He’d save the prince from himself and the royal house from embarrassment, not to mention, a possible war with the demons (Az, as written so far, would take it personally against him, not his whole people). And considering who and what she’s been dealing with, he just has to pour the wine and be honest.

Yes, and she should tell him everything. It would be good for her to do so. She would finally get the chance to stop, take a breath, sort somethings out, and get a true handle on things.

  18. Rinzei says:

It’s hard to say if Eric could be the boy she saved. After all, it was forty years ago – do human-demon hybrids age slower like demons, or more like humans? And if he IS the boy she saved, is he scorning his demon heritage? And wouldn’t he maybe have the pendant Azrael gave his mother to keep his demon presence hidden?

Wow, over-analyzing instead of doing my homework…
