isnt erics intention to seperate her from the prince? wouldn’t resolving the problem between az and winnie do exactly this?

Oh, and Amber, yes he will believe it. He’s using a standard interrogation technique. When the subject can be made to be mad, they will always reveal something of import. And it is usually as honest as the subject can manage about the subject. All he has to do is to keep questioning her assertions and she will get good and mad, you know, like she is right now.
A soldier lives or dies on good intel. His men’s lives may hinge upon it. He will get it out of her.
